REGISTRATION AGREEMENT — version 2026-10-v1

Registration agreement

This agreement applies to every student who takes part. Parents sign it digitally in the portal once the registration has been completed.

(Translation for convenience. In case of any difference, the Dutch text prevails.)

Parties

1. Stichting Talent East Academy, based in Enschede, Chamber of Commerce no. 95011382, hereinafter “TEA”.

2. The parent or guardian signing this agreement, hereinafter “the parent”, also on behalf of the child or children the parent registers, hereinafter “the student”.

Article 1 — What TEA offers

On the study days in the schedule, TEA offers homework support, tutoring, excursions and other activities, given by volunteers. TEA does its best to provide good support but cannot guarantee school results.

Article 2 — Arrangements for parent and student

a. The student arrives on time, brings school materials and takes an active part.

b. If the student cannot come, the parent (or the student) reports this through the portal, no later than 10:00 on the study day.

c. A booked tutoring session is cancelled in time. Anyone who does not show up twice without notice may temporarily be unable to book tutoring.

d. Parent and student treat volunteers, other students and the venue with respect. In case of repeated or serious misconduct, TEA may end participation after consulting the parent.

e. The parent keeps the contact details in the portal up to date and can be reached on study days.

Article 3 — Costs

Any monthly parental contribution is agreed in the intake meeting and collected through a separate direct debit mandate. Without such an agreement, participation is free of charge.

Article 4 — Activities outside study days

For excursions and activities away from the regular venue, TEA asks the parent's permission in advance for each activity through the portal.

Article 5 — Photos and video

TEA only uses images in which the student is recognisable with the parent's separate consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Article 6 — Personal data

TEA processes data of the parent and the student (contact details, date of birth, school, level and year, attendance, tutoring and short notes from volunteers) to organise the support. Legal basis: performance of this agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is not sold or used for advertising, and is shared only with suppliers that run the portal for TEA, under a data processing agreement. TEA keeps the data until no later than 12 months after participation ends, unless the law requires longer retention. The parent has the right of access, correction, erasure and objection, and may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. See also the privacy statement on stichtingtea.com.

Article 7 — Liability

TEA is not liable for loss of or damage to the student's belongings, except in case of intent or gross negligence by TEA. The parent is liable for damage the student causes intentionally, insofar as the law provides.

Article 8 — Term and termination

This agreement applies from signing for an indefinite period. The parent may end it at any time via the portal or info@stichtingtea.com. TEA may end it if the programme stops, after long absence without notice, or under Article 2d.

Article 9 — Changes

TEA may change this agreement. A new version is presented in the portal for signature. If the parent does not agree, the parent may end the agreement.

Article 10 — Complaints and governing law

Complaints can be submitted to the board via info@stichtingtea.com. This agreement is governed by Dutch law.

Signature

The parent declares to be a parent or guardian with parental authority over the student, and authorised to enter into this agreement on the student's behalf. The parent signs digitally in TEA Portal. Name, email address, date, time and IP address are recorded; the parent receives a copy by email.
