This school year too, our study days are on Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00 at Wijkcentrum ’t Ni-je Terphoes, Noordhollandstraat 4 in Enschede. New students can join all year round; sign up on the Get involved page.
Before the books open, students and tutors first sit down at the table together. A shared breakfast makes the day calm, and it is the moment when you hear how the week went.
Not everything is about maths. We went bowling with the whole group: students, tutors and a few parents. Outings like this are part of the programme; they turn a group into a team.
In 2023 a group of students started the first tutoring sessions under the wings of Humanitas. Stichting Talent East Academy grew out of that initiative.
