Everything in the portal, briefly explained

1.

Signing up your child

1. 1Go to stichtingtea.com and tap ‘Sign up’ at the top right.
2. 2Fill in the details of your child and the parents.
3. 3Send the form. We will then get in touch with you.

Logging in to the portal

1. 1Go to stichtingtea.com/portaal.
2. 2Type your email address and tap ‘Send me a login link’.
3. 3Open the email from TEA and type the 6-digit code, or tap the link in the email.
4. 4Tap ‘Log in with code’.

Good to know: No email? Check your spam folder.

Signing the registration

1. 1Log in for the first time: the ‘Confirm registration’ page opens by itself.
2. 2Read the agreement and tick the boxes.
3. 3Type your full name and tap ‘Agree and sign’.

Good to know: One parent is enough. You receive a copy by email.

Putting the portal on your iPhone

1. 1Open stichtingtea.com/portaal in Safari.
2. 2Tap the share icon (or first ≡ to the left of the address bar, then ‘Share’).
3. 3Tap ‘Add to Home Screen’ and then ‘Add’.

Good to know: From now on, open the portal with the TEA icon on your home screen.

Putting the portal on your Android phone

1. 1Open stichtingtea.com/portaal in Chrome and log in.
2. 2Tap ‘Install the app’ in the yellow box (or in Chrome tap ⋮ and then ‘Install app’).
3. 3Tap ‘Install’.

Turning on notifications

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘Install the app’.
2. 2Tap ‘Turn on notifications’ at the bottom.
3. 3Tap ‘Allow’ when your phone asks.

Good to know: On an iPhone this only works once the portal is on your home screen.

Changing the language

1. 1Tap the globe at the top right.
2. 2Choose Nederlands, English or Türkçe.

Good to know: Emails and notifications then also come in that language.

Reporting that your child can’t come

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘My children’.
2. 2Tap ‘Call off’ next to the Sunday.

Good to know: Possible until Sunday 10:00. Coming after all? Tap ‘Coming after all’.

9.

Requesting tutoring

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘Tutoring’.
2. 2Choose the subject and tap ‘Show teachers’.
3. 3Tap ‘Pick’ next to a teacher and time.
4. 4Write what your child needs help with and tap ‘Request’.

Good to know: From Monday 19:00 to Friday 23:59. On Saturday you hear whether the session goes ahead.

10.

Withdrawing a tutoring request

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘Tutoring’.
2. 2Tap ‘Withdraw’ next to the request.

Good to know: That frees the spot for another child.

11.

Signing your child up for an activity

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘Activities’.
2. 2Tap the activity and read the details.
3. 3Tick the permission box (if asked) and tap ‘Sign up’.

Good to know: Full? Then you go on the waiting list.

12.

An account for your child

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘My children’.
2. 2Tap the line under ‘Own account’.
3. 3Type your child’s own email address and tap ‘Create account and send invitation’.

Good to know: Your child then requests tutoring themselves. You can withdraw this at any time.

13.

Viewing attendance and lesson notes

1. 1Under ‘My children’, ‘Attendance’ shows which Sundays your child attended.
2. 2Under ‘Tutoring’, each completed session shows the teacher’s note.

14.

Downloading the certificate

1. 1Open the menu and choose ‘My children’.
2. 2Tap ‘Certificate (PDF)’ next to your child.

15.

Finding help in the portal

1. 1Tap the question mark at the top right.
2. 2Choose a topic or watch a video.
